Looks like you're the original author. Well done. Have you thought of sending your critique to the letters editor at the FT?
They publish quite a few perceptive letters there.
Years from now, as Bitcoin shows itself different from 'crypto' I can see that the FT will change it's tune. This is largely because businesses and investors rely on it to paint things as they are - as their money rides on such information. Because of this the FT has been known to tell the truth, sometimes accidentally, when others are just biased.
Obviously Bitcoin is the exception to that rule right now though. I feel that they'll call it right in the end though.
