I found this on Twitter. I also found a few French language news sites from the week before discussing how the CAR was under pressure from its CEMAC allies to rollback Bitcoin's status. Something about it violating international agreements within the CFA franc monetary union.

Question remains, if this was "adopted by acclamation" rather than voted on (if I understand), does that make this bill a law or is this simply on par with a House Resolution?

I wonder if parliament passed a bill rolling back bitcoin's status as legal tender, but was vetoed by the president.
