Today is the 1st anniversary of my little telegram channel on bitcoin and privacy. This is my third attempt to run the channel, and only this time it was able to last so long)) But the number of subscribers is very small, as I am not actively attracting new audience, but just sharing my experience and useful tips.

I finally finished reading Dune. Well, it was mostly listening to the audiobook during work but also sitting down to read the physical book when I have time in the evenings. What a masterpiece! The world design, the imagination, the characters, all so complex and interesting. Frank Herbert is a true genius! Will likely start Dune Messiah soon. Would really like to finish the whole series, seems really fun.

There’s an audiobook rendition of Dune by “audio renaissance” Simon Vance is the main narrator but the characters have different voice actors for crucial scenes it’s amazing

Yea, that's the audiobook version I listened to. Great production. It was so good, I kept listening to it while following along reading the physical book, lol.

Wohoo - SN PWA finally fixed some of the UX annoyances that I had while using it with Brave. Congrats and thank you for the updates.

Awesome. My 12 year old has been doing taekwondo for a couple years now. He just got his red belt a few weeks ago. At his school they call the little ones Warriors.

I haven't been paying too much attention to what I saw as the charade of the debt ceiling drama, but it seems like things might actually be dicey. Lots of Republicans don't like McCarthy, and the progressive wing of the Democratic Party doesn't want to compromise. In the end they might not have the votes.

I think it’s all just games. I don’t think either party has the balls to blow up the status quo. It might bleed past the deadline but as soon as those boomers see all their paper wealth start to evaporate. They will call their reps our government capturing corporations (big banks/phrama) and all the fiat overlords will crack the whip and our bought and paid for politicians will bend the knee and further us on this road of debt slavery.
