Yeah it exists already! We should create a link for it on the site. We also don't keep it that short unfortunately. We usually hit 45 minutes.
Nobody has done a daily though!
I mean, there are Daily bitcoin podcasts, .... the "Bitcoin And ..." podcasts by David Bennett and the Simply Bitcoin daily podcasts.
If @2Big2Fail wanted to do (or collaborate on) a daily, 15 minute podcast, of what is on SN for that day, I could see that being of interest to some. Just like how the topics that are featured on the SNL weekly are not necessarily what is found on other "weekly recap" shows (such as TFTC's Rabbit Hole recap), ... I could see how a daily 15 minute podcast on SNL topics would be different than what is found on the other Bitcoin daily podcasts too.

better than a link, what about an entire sub dedicated to lightning-enabled podcasts?
each rss update would automatically be pulled, so no worry about diluting conversation on the main board or bootstrapping a new community on the podcast board.
then SN users can upvote/comment on their favorite shows, and watch the sats/comments stream directly to podcast creators.

yeah i threw this out in the early days when i was hesistant to post podcast episodes, cause i wanted it to somehow be one of the podcasters who could get those sats. realized at the time, it was just easier to send them a dono every once in a while.
STILL LIKE THIS IDEA, maybe a thread for each podcast, and it will comment on the thread when a new episode drops with links and people can discuss the episode below it. maybe since the nodepubkey is in the RSS w/ podcasting 2.0 it could be utilized?
non programmer talking programming here lmao

for sure, it could be a thread for each podcast, or just a constantly updating feed of all lightning podcast episodes (each as their own item) so that SN users can rank each episode in the same way they rank posts on the main board.
can definitely use the pub key to transfer funds to podcasters, and the same can be done for comments. fountain recently launched cross-app comments, so anyone can see/post comments on lightning podcasts from any app that supports the spec.

heard some backlash about fountain using LN for messages, somethign about how they were sending them.. not sure where i remember seeing that.

^^ @k00b ;)
Out of all different media formats, podcasts are the most ripe for being included in SN. This is largely thanks to Adam Curry and his relentless push for the open decentralized model. Note here that Adam has 1M+ listeners per episode... that's not a small number.
The one small downside is that this would be somewhat competing with the ActivityPub based commenting solution that podcastindex folks are working on, as well as the Fountain based solution, but ... oh well... this is the beauty of open networks :)

This could even be compatible with Fountain's cross-app commenting solution, any app can implement it.
Comments from any Podcasting 2.0 user could automatically appear on SN, and an SN user could send a comment on SN that appears directly on a podcasters feed.

That's a good point too.
@MerryOscar for visibility.
