any suggestions or improvements? It's a valid way of demonstrating the value proposition of the product right? If Opendime produces this, they will for sure make millions of sales and billions of dollars, but they didn't even reply to my email!
there's no for sure in marketing ... it's common for expensive marketing campaigns to not yield a return
my main criticism is that it seems very expensive to produce ... helicopters and lots of actors ... I'm also not sure it is on brand for them. They are very minimal in their aesthetic and branding ... Plus, most bitcoiners interested in hardware wallets are well aware of them already. This type of commercial would be better suited to Coinbase's users. The way to expand coinkite's user base is to make more bitcoiners and get them more interested in self-custody; any marketing for them should be geared toward that goal IMHO.
With most marketing you want it inexpensive. A great example is Tesla's recent drone flight through their factory. What did that cost to produce, a couple grand maybe? Yet it went viral on twitter.
Yeah, it's high budget, or they can get it animated, that will still cost something. But I think this is the only way Satoshi can move his 1 million coins to do good without destroying bitcoin. There is no other scenario in which he comes back or his coins move and bitcoin stays alive. Opendime has a unique product. It's not like trezor or ledger, it's like a use-and-throw carry-case for money, basically cash equivalent. if they have faith in this and do it, I'm sure they will reap 100x the budget of this ad.
please try and share it with coinkite / opendime / coldcard on twitter, it's bad that I wrote something nice and sent as part of a job interview and they didn't even reply back with acknowledgement and here I've made another video edited featuring them, because I don't like Trezor and Ledger now (they did NPC things in favour of Ukraine) whereas Coinkite did no such thing - here's the video Wallet In The Head by RATM https://odysee.com/@bitcoinmemes:7/WalletInTheHead:7
Pretty fun. Thanks for sharing
