Does anyone know about seed validation? I'm trying to close a lighting channel and was suggested to validate the seed. I was given the link https://rangevalidator.web.app/wallets.html but it seems weird putting a seed into a random website. Is it a scam?

You never give your seed to anyone ever. You never put it in a website. If this site wants your seed, it’s a scam.
Where did you get a message to validate the seed?

I've heard that and assumed. It was a dm on reddit where the guy was trying to 'help'. I have heard of a problem with seeds being valid but don't understand it. I'm trying to decide whether to report the site as a scam or not.
