This isn't a very complex opinion, but: I think this will have a similar effect to social media, you're on youtube; you can watch degen content, stupid pranks and vlogs, or you can actually learn with a basically infinite course library.

You can use chatgpt to go about learning, and building stuff, or you could just let it do for you the boring usual stuff where what you ask of it, and what you contribute with it are minimal.

Now, if/when it gets advanced enough to actually fully replace humans at complex jobs like software engineering etc...

Then I don't know how the world will function anymore, maybe a bunch of AIs act like state like entities trading goods, resources, nd services on the blockchain and care for the humans as a minimal business expense.
