Usually, leading into an election cycle with the incumbent running, the Fed pulls out all the stops to keep the economy looking good.

However, I have a hypothesis that the ruling class has been trying to get Biden out of the picture. If so, we'll see the Fed letting things fall apart (which is the right thing to do, incidentally).
