Wondering what everyone feels the best hardware wallet is? I'm considering moving my stack from a hot wallet to a cold wallet... most recommendations that I've seen points to a trezor. Also, do you stick everything in a cold wallet or do you split between hot & cold?

Consider reading these guides:

A "cold wallet" it doesn't have to be only a hardware wallet. And also don't keep all your BTC in one wallet, one address, one location. Spread your stash in multiple wallets, multiple UTXOs, multiple locations.
When the time to spend some of them, it will be much easier to spend from a smaller UTXO than a big one.
In those guides I explained how it should be done, using the 3 levels of stash:
- HODL - vault, cold wallets, your central bank, most of your BTC
- cache - coin control, in/out selection, managing funds temporarily, medium amounts (your commercial bank)
- spend - LN wallets, your spending pockets, small amounts
