Thats why reddit has "subs" to keep discussions organized into various topics. If you want all your time on BTC, it would not be hard to make that happen. Isnt true adoption when people are using Bitcoin without actually realizing it. A LN enabled reddit would bring in non-BTC native users, where they can use the network without really fully understanding it, and can be onboarded to full maxis overtime. If the only topic is Bitcoin, you'll never get outside ideas, discussion, or users. Perhaps what you personally want is only the hardcore bitcoin technical discussions, but that can alienate even bitcoin enthusiasts such as myself who feel unable to contribute as well as more technically literate people. It can be intimidating and if there arent discussions that people can and feel able to contribute to, they will inevitably stop using the site. Stacker.News is a bitcoin news site now, but doesnt have to always remain that way and can morph into a more generalized news site powered by the Bitcoin and lightning network spuring further adoption of Bitcoin. Its fine if 99% of your time is Bitcoin, but even on this Bitcoin oriented site you are likely a rare minority.
You are free to fork SN code and create your own thing about any garbage you want. I don't want to waste my time scrolling into endless garbage until I will find something interesting about Bitcoin.

This convo doesnt have to go on any further, but I think you are simply ignoring how "sub reddits" work. If YOU wanted to only see Bitcoin, that is fully within your power. Right now your stance on this is "because I dont want to see other topics, no one else should either. And you should go elsewhere". I see value in a singular place where people can discuss various topics, while all contributing/using the Bitcoin and LN. Perhaps there will be more SN forks in the future for other topics and news, but again, that requires technical skills I personally dont have, but also is a relatively clunky experience vs the currently available alternatives such as Reddit. Which again will make it less likely normies come. I think a full LN powered social media, like Twitter or Reddit can be a huge driver of LN adoption if done right, which I would imagine is a goal of Bitcoiners such as yourself. So why fragment userbase and fork vs building on a foundation that is already there. Just my lowly opinion that doesnt really matter.
