On the subject of the right to privacy and freedom of speech, here are what The Curator consider some of the most important words ever written, compiled into 10 commandments, and at the same time providing you, my friend, with some awesome writers to dig into.
  1. Respect that a man's home is his castle. - based on the writings of Cicero
  2. Spread knowledge, as liberty cannot be preserved without general knowledge among the people. - based on the writings of Cicero
  3. Fight for freedom of speech, as it is a principal pillar of a free government; taken away, the constitution of a free society is dissolved, and tyranny is erected on its ruins. - based on the writings of Benjamin Franklin
  4. Be confident. If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear. - based on the writings of George Orwell
  5. Don't ever give up freedom for safety, because then you deserve neither. - based on the writings of Benjamin Franklin
  6. Deal with fear head on. - based on the writings of Aristotle
  7. Do not engage with a society that puts equality before freedom. Take part in the building of a society that puts freedom before equality, and get a high degree of both. - based on the writings of Milton Friedman
  8. Be yourself, even in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else. That is the greatest accomplishment. - based on the writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson
  9. Acknowledge the right to be let alone. It is indeed the beginning of all freedom. - based on the writings of Justice Louis Brandeis
  10. To be free, you must guarantee an equally full measure of liberty to all your neighbors. - based on the writings of Carl Schurz

Privacy is declared as one of the Human Rights. So yes, it is important. And yet I see so many people, specially new generations I would say, exchanging their privacy for convenience.

Freedom of speach is grand - I just can't help to wonder if everything that comes out of my mouth is a lie and I convince people of that lie, then what? Am I still free to say whatever I want or should I be held accountable for spreading lies or how do deal with those kind of individuals?

Even when you've paid enough Been pulled apart Or been held up Every single memory of The good or bad, faces of love Don't lose any sleep tonight I'm sure everything will end up alright You may win or lose But to be yourself is all that you can do To be yourself is all that you can do
