Flare gas is "th lowest hanging fruit" when it comes to fighting climate change and bitcoin is literally paying money for using this energy and reducing its environmental impact.
It's only a matter of 1. getting the word out 2. getting this through corporate buraucracys and 3. chip shortage.
Honestly, sometimes it is infuriating why we as humans can't do things like this right now. The feeling of powerlessness of being only 1 insignificant human :D

This is an informative article, aside from no mention of using flare gas for bitcoin mining. Top 13 states flared 3.5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas since 2012. That's 10.6 billion USD worth of energy!
