Leave it to shitcoin rag CoinDesk to conflate bitcoin mining with ETH mining.
For instance, the CBECI chart above is 100% for bitcoin mining -- it does not consider ETH miners whatsoever.
They could have titled the article "The State of Bitcoin and Copper Mining" and that combination would have made just about as much sense.
