Are four types of LN apps actually:
- LN node wallets, where you can manage the LN channels and you have full control of the funds, non-custodial.
- LN custodial accounts, where you can't manage anything, just send/receive
- LNDHUB accounts that can act as LN wallets, but still remain accounts. These can be custodial or non-custodial (with your own node)
- hosted channels, where you have control over funds and keys but are not on your local device. Can be full custodial or non-custodial (your own node).
