I've spent a hell of a time trying to talk myself out of bitcoin. It needs no one to build confidence in it. Or outright lie.

It bends, changes and slowly fills gaps as it is needed, while maintaining its integrity at its base layer. Slow and steady. It's greatest threat is the global collapse wrought by humans' greed and incompetence. Currently funneling all the "money" to a cabal of war mongers promoting "positivity and optimism". "Meet challenges before them"

Apologies for all the quotation marks but I just watched the meeting between Trudeau and PB this afternoon and them actually quotes.

"The banks are in pretty good shape" is as Larry David as it gets.

Pretty, prettay, pretty gud.

I was a bit slow getting on board with bitcoin. I saw the appeal, but I didn't buy the idea that it's actually scarce, since there's no end to the number of alt coins that can be spun off. Now, I think Bitcoin has enough network effect power that it's not likely to face a serious challenger.

It's such a boon to the world that every time the ruling creeps try something nefarious Bitcoin is sitting there as an unstoppable outside option for the public.

I think we were all slower than we wish. But you need to really pay an incredible amount of attention, and look, read, listen really hard to find that tipping point.

Once that scale in your brain shifts you can't unsee it. It's so easy to disregard what Bitcoin offers, and understand why it is the way it is, in all the unending bullshit. But there's something here so powerful the idea alone once it inhabits you doesn't just go away.

The idea of actual freedom from control of a small few is rearing its ugly head again. With a tool to help that isnt firect violence for profit. As a very discouraged American. It nearly brings a tear to my eye.

Network is strong.
