The author states that autocracy is "the alternative" to democracy. I disagree. It's an alternative, or at least it appears to be one on the surface, because IMO democracy and autocracy are the same thing.
A real alternative to democracy is freedom, which Bitcoin may help us achieve.
Bitcoin doesn't need democracy. Democracy needs bitcoin.
