Wow that transaction fee has to be just a fat finger, a mistake or someone that didn't know what he was doing right?
But also this reminds me of a situation where you want to pay a ridiculous fee. When someone got your key, because they hacked you, or attacked you or simple found your backup, but your coin has a time lock. So it cannot be spent until a certain date. Then you want to transfer your coin as quickly as possible after the time lock date before the attacker does it. So you enter into a lose/lose race with the attacker to make your transaction in the next block by increasing the fee with the Replace-by-fee(RBF) option. It is a bad situation that none of us want to be in. So be careful with time locked coins.
