GPT4 released today. Can pass standardized tests at a level to get into Ivy league schools. Going to be interesting to see the fallout from this over the next few years, to say the least.

Curious how it would do on Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam

Is the SEC going to seize my cowboy hat?

It depends on how many hats were premined...

Seems like each day the "you stacked X in daily rewards" keeps adding to the previous stack of rewards if I don't stack anything in-between...does that make sense?

Contemplating what LN channels to open. Also, I've been seeing a trend of old-timer LN node runners that move away from running a public node to a private node. Why? Seems like the trend should be the other way, shouldn't it?
reply
When you notice it's not worth the effort running a routing node, it makes more sense to just run a private node only for yourself (or maybe family and friends).
I actually thought about first starting with a private node and then later with more knowledge decide about running a routing node.
reply
That is the feedback, I've been getting as well. Wouldn't this, however, show that there is a problem somewhere when running a node is not worth the effort?
reply
You are still running a node. You just don't participate in routing.
I would see it like not everyone has what it takes to be a miner, but running a full node is easy.
But good question. Maybe someone who has thought more about this can chime in.

Save yourself the time.

Is it that it doesn't pay or what?
reply
Seems to be just nonsense like downloading apps that is available to earn on. Great idea but either poor execution, marketing of the site or just not enough micro tasks that people want to pay or accept bitcoin for. Not sure but it aint working.

I have been down here in Aruba the past few days, where no one seems to care about US regional banks. I'm going to check out this place and see if you can still buy a beer using bitcoin.
reply
Nice are you learning any Papiamentu. Aruba is great but I didn't have much luck in the casinos.
reply
I have been coming here off and on for almost 40 years. I have yet to learn much Papiamento beyond Mi dushi, nor have I had any luck in the casinos.
reply
I have been a couple times. Great Island.
