If they would be motivated by free sats the Bitcoin Magazine 21 day course is very basic. If you're too lazy to open an email and read a few paragraphs once a day you might be beyond all hope.
This is a good course. It does require some dedication to read for 21 days though.
My guess is video would be the best for your friends.
