Yeah, but unlike Counterparty, people actually like Ordinal inscriptions and their community has real excitement. People can try things many times, and you never know which time it will finally catch on, if it ever does.

Counterparty was quite the rage back in the days, it raised more than 100kBTC and had delivered a product while ethereum was still vaporware.
