Yeah. Like, I realize it's a complicated process, but you'd almost think they'd hold off a game after that.

Once they put things in motion I think it would have to be pretty extenuating circumstances to delay it.

In 2022 the Blue Jays first base coach tragically lost his daughter who died in a tubing accident. They ended up firing the manager a week and a half later and i always wondered if they delayed that firing because of how bad it would have looked to fire him right after such a tragic event.

Plus it would be a horrible situation to have brought the new manager into with the team and staff dealing with the loss.
