The Quran clearly states that the truth of Islam is self-evident. Compulsory religion, as practiced by the IRGC, is a contradiction.

Had your Lord so willed O Prophet, all people on earth would have certainly believed, every single one of them! Would you then force people to become believers? — Quran 10:99

He said, “O my people! Consider if I stand on a clear proof from my Lord and He has blessed me with a mercy from Himself, which you fail to see. Should we then force it on you against your will? — Quran 11:28

And say, O Prophet, “This is the truth from your Lord. Whoever wills let them believe, and whoever wills let them disbelieve.” Surely We have prepared for the wrongdoers a Fire whose walls will completely surround them. When they cry for aid, they will be aided with water like molten metal, which will burn ˹their˺ faces. What a horrible drink! And what a terrible place to rest! — Quran 18:29

So, continue to remind all, O Prophet, for your duty is only to remind. You are not there to compel them to believe. — Quran 88:21-22

HOWEVER

Permission to fight has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory. — Quran 22:39

You may kill those who wage war against you, and you may evict them whence they evicted you. Oppression is worse than murder. Do not fight them at the Sacred Masjid, unless they attack you therein. If they attack you, you may kill them. This is the just retribution for those disbelievers. — Quran 2-191

What a shame that for the trangressions of false prophets against God's gift of free will, the fate of a great nation has been abandoned to infidels!

How pathetic that a party entrusted with a nation's security would turn their weapons against those of the same tongue and enable their destruction at the hands of foreign adversaries!

But praise be to Allah, who is competent over all things.
