In this case it is a way of verifying a nym is not the serial downzapper who is downzapping all posts on The Greater Israel Project and more widely posts discussing the war in the Middle East.
The downzapper is concealing their nym and motives.
They are acting against freedom of speech and good faith dialogue.
This undermines the utility and credibility of SNs as a forum where all topics can be discussed freely and frankly.
It is far from only my war posts that are being heavily downzapped.
While they have been visible there have been many comments on most war related posts.
It is not as if stackers don't want to talk about the war and try to understand it - many do.
All anti war posts are heavily downzapped.
Someone desperately wants to prevent the war being discussed.
Fortunately people can still look under 'TOP downzapped' to find the war posts.
Pointing out that @denlillaapan is most probably the downzapper does at least result in some potential accountability.
If that assertion is wrong I have offered him 10,000 sats as reward if he will show his recent spending graph (including his nym) which if he is not the downzapper would clear his name and earn him 10,000 sats.
If he is not the downzapper he only has to gain by showing his recent spending graph.
The alleged downzapper is hiding their spending history and refuses my offer of 10,000 sats to clear their name by showing it.
Showing spending history does not dox your your real world identity.
It simply shows your spending history.
Actively concealing your obstruction of free speech and open dialogue is sociopathic behaviour.
