The Mashers are now in 11th place (out of 12) after a hard fought 6-5-1 loss to the Moonbase Rockets.

The Mashers dominated the offensive categories (except steals) but could not overcome the great week the Rockets pitchers had and some scheduling misfortune.

Let's see how the Mashers stacked up against the rest of the league last week:

Runs 2nd (tied)
HRs 3rd
RBIs 2nd
SBs 8th
OPS 6th
Errors 1st
Ks 8th
QS 4th (tied)
Wins 5th (tied)
ERA 6th
WHIP 7th
Saves 9th (tied)

Overall not a bad week. Finished in the top half of the league in 8/12 categories. Pitching let me down a bit but much of that had to do with lack of opportunities with almost all of my starters starting only once and my relievers not getting many hold/save situations.

Let's see how we fare this week against the commish @NEEDcreations and his Lightning Legends, who are also scuffling to start the season. Should be a great rematch of last year's final.

I suppose I should also give some credit to @Undisciplined and his nameless pack of scrubs for being the biggest winner of the week. Better to be lucky than good sometimes.

Maybe your team should have spent more time practicing and less time brainstorming nicknames

The entire Mashers organization is offended by your insinuation.

NOT THE GAME THOUGH. NOT THE GAME. PRACTICE?!

Just some friendly advice from the top of the standings

The Rays, Twins, Rangers and Pirates are all also currently atop the standings in their divisions. I expect that won’t be the case a month from now.
