Ok, I like Norse mythology and also enjoyed God of War 4, so this was a solid game, even more solid when picked up on sale!

My main critique is that there are some things that were just not communicated. Like, for example, there was an option on normal difficulty to enable mid-way boss saves - I didn't know this until I had beaten the game and was doing last bosses like Gna and the last Beserker.

After flailing away at him for 2 hours, I saw someone mention it in a YouTube comment, and I was like, mother fucker, that would have saved me so much time.

Like, I get why people like hard games like Eldon Ring, but at 40 years old, I can't be spending a whole week fucking about with one boss, I need ruthless gaming efficiency.

Another example of mechanics not being mentioned was that you can increase the time for puzzles, which was what I needed for those fucking Nornir chests where you have to throw the axe at them in a certain time. A small detail that I discovered far too late, also via YouTube.

Other than that, a very polished experience, especially liked the way they did Odin, and also a good plot twist I didn't see coming.

I remember the first time I played this game, what a delight, and what a great masterpiece. 🤩
