For much of the 20th century, neutrality made sense because the international system was, simply put, more structured.
The world is no longer bipolar, nor even multipolar in the classical sense.
It is fragmented, emotional, hyperconnected, and deeply narrative.
And in this type of system, neutrality loses one of its main advantages: clarity.
