The US ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, has given an insight into his life during the US-Israeli war on Iran, saying he spent the past several weeks in a command centre.
“After six weeks of living at command center in one room with two dogs, sleeping on cots, making meals in microwave and hot plate, and having very limited movement, we’re back at residence during ceasefire,” Huckabee wrote.
“Actual bed! Being Ambassador is filled with luxury and adventure!”
Huckabee is a staunch supporter of Israel. The avowed Christian Zionist sparked outrage in February after saying in an interview he “would be fine” if Israel took most of the Middle East, in accordance with his interpretation of the Bible.
