They're two of the presidents most responsible for sweeping expansion of state control of the economy. I wouldn't call myself a South African expert, but based on my time there, the things that make it a hard place to live for most people are the massive amounts of government rules and incompetence. So sadly, the thing that LBJ and DJT hold in common is actually the same thing that is making the US look more like SA every year.
