But fear not I have consulted with my analytics nerds and they say don't panic yet.
After one week of play, The Maple Mashers are in 12th place, which apparently in a 12 team league is last.
However, I had my analytics department do a deep dive and things aren't as bleak as they seem. Or so they say.
Here is how the Mashers fared in each category amongst the 12 teams:

S 6/12
The Mashers finished top half of the league in 7/12 categories. Top 4 in 5/12 and 1st in 2/12.
Seems like The Mashers have some work to do in a few categories but overall played above league average despite finishing last. Seems like the Mashers got baseballed.

This weekly transactions format blows. I'm never doing a league with these settings again. I don't have my best player for 3 weeks and there's nothing I can do about it for this entire week. The injury placement was announced a couple hours ago, well after our weekly waivers cleared. So unfortunate
Yeah I think just FAAB and a larger league would have been ok. I ran into a problem as well where it said I reached my matchup limit. Which is understandable because I picked up a few guys on waivers today but a week from today is a new matchup and it still won't allow me to pick up a guy for next week. I guess I have to wait until the week after.

Monday. But there was an afternoon game yesterday. So you had to have your lineup set before that game.
