At current difficulty and price, the heat pump probably wins on pure economics, but you're stacking sats and contributing hashrate, which the heat pump never does.

True. But I imagine installing a heat pump is a tad more expensive/difficult than unpacking and plugging in the Ofen?

As for scheduling, yes they have that feature... Doesn't work great (it just restarts the entire machine, with veeery loud fan noise) every time. (I believe it's something they're working on)
