Watched this movie last night and thought it was ok.
It is hard to know if the brutality of the British colonial administration and the Jewish settlers is true to what happened but that is what is portrayed.
The movie shows the start of Israel in modern times from the perspective of one village and how The British enabled the beginning of the process that seems to be continuing ever since whereby Palestinians land is taken for or by Jews in a violent and relentless way.
Sobering historical drama still very relevant today in this time of ongoing war.
