I've had a cowboy hat a few times, but didn't really understand how I earned it! How many zaps do you need to give to earn one? Is it the same every day?
Ah, I remember when I used to have 1 sat default tip amount. Now I spam the lightning bolt with a 15 sat tip each tap. That was the day I decided I wanted to be spending more sats that I got off of this site. I'm having trouble meeting that goal by the way. Maybe I should bump it up to 25

I believe you have to tip 100 sats per day to keep the hat.

I have mine set to 21 but that's such a small amount of corn that I usually click more than once.
I like that even 1 sat is all it takes to prevent the majority of spam.

I had 1 for a while, recently changed to 21 now that I have a good bit of sats accumulated
10 feels like an optimal amount for me.
The upvotes are now using factors of ten.
1 to 9, = 1 upvotes,
10 to 99 = 2 upvotes,
100 to 999 = 3 upvotes,
1,000 to 9,999 = 4 upvotes
So tipping to effect a rise in a post's rank is (without "wasting" sats) optimally 1, 10, 100, 1,000, etc.

Set at 1 but I tap a couple of times. Lately I would zap the difference to make the zap count rounded to the nearest 100
Me too. But I usually choose the amount so that the total tipped amount is a round number.
