have you ever considered that I don't want to connect my node (with a good chunk of bitcoin on it) to a hot wallet like Stacker News? Why are you advocating for this bad practice @Solomonsatoshi ? Even I a mere cave dwelling peasant can attach a sending and receiving wallet even though I do not operate a virtue signalling node.
