This one’s easy, but there’s a small trick that makes all the difference.
What you’ll need:
- 100% cacao (Bitcoin Beans on Nostr)
- Coffee grounds (AceaSpades on Nostr)
- Honey (Sweet Sats on Nostr)
- Raw milk
- A pinch of salt flakes
- Hot water
- Blender (something like a NutraBullet works well)
Step 1: Brew the coffee
Boil your water and pour it over the coffee grounds like you normally would. You want it hot and fresh.
Step 2: Build your base
In your blender, add the cacao and honey first. This part matters.
Step 3: Melt it properly
Pour the hot coffee directly over the cacao and honey. This helps both of them melt down before blending. Don’t skip this—this is the trick. Give it a little stir.
Step 4: Add the rest
Pour in your raw milk and add a small pinch of salt flakes.
Step 5: Blend
Blend until smooth.
If you just toss cacao straight into milk and blend, it won’t break down as well. Letting the hot coffee hit it first makes everything come together the way it should.
I’ve mostly been grinding up nibs with my coffee beans but I did try melting some of the chocolate into it too.
No maple syrup? I like that flavor more than honey with coffee, although I use a little of both.
You could use that too! I was gonna today, but i try to keep it to one or the other. Might just add em together heh
