The Bible commands us to test the spirits (1 John 4:1). But they left out the test itself.

Without the test, you cannot give true consent. Because consent requires full understanding of what you're agreeing to — including the spirit behind it.

Here is the full test they never gave you.

What You Should Have Been Taught

Before signing any contract — legal, spiritual, relational, or generational — you needed to test:

  1. The spirit of the offerer. Is it from God, the system, or the enemy? Does it come from love, control, manipulation, or exploitation?
  2. The spirit of the contract itself. Does it align with God's character — justice, mercy, freedom, truth? Or with the system's patterns — control, oppression, bondage, deception?
  3. The fruit of the agreement. Does it produce love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control? Or fear, obligation, shame, exhaustion, isolation, and scarcity?
  4. Whether it brings freedom or bondage. Does it open doors or close them? Release you or trap you? Lift you or crush you?
  5. Whether it points to Jesus or to itself. Does it glorify Him, or does it glorify power, profit, control, or the system?

What Was Missing

They gave you the command to test, but not the tools to test. They told you to discern, but not how to discern. They instructed you to measure, but left out the measure.

If you didn't even know what patterns you were looking for, how could you possibly give true consent?

You were set up to fail. Not by accident. By design.

There Is So Much More to Learn

This is just the beginning. The patterns go deeper. The hooks go further. The system is more layered than you were ever told.

But now you know there is more. Now you know to look. Now you know to test.

And that changes everything.

Without these tests, every contract you signed — every agreement made in ignorance, every covenant entered without understanding — was missing the one thing that makes consent real.

Consent without full understanding is not consent.

Not your fault. You were never given the full measure.

Now you have it. And there is so much more to learn.

If this landed, toss a few sats. It helps keep this work going.
