I'd do this. I think the thing that always holds me up is that I feel like I have to tell 'em about Bitcoin, and then lightning and then I've lost them. 

I was explaining Stacker News to some definite Normie's this weekend and they thought it was bonkers. I probably need to work on my pitch.  

But mostly, I think I let that stuff get in the way.

We need to have an SN event. Something like Taco Tuesday - Stacker Saturday? During this day we all go out in the real world and do the SN elevator pitch to a stranger. And then buy them a beer while they sign up.
