President Donald Trump on Tuesday warned the U.K. and France that the U.S. "won't be there to help you anymore," as he vented his frustration over the close allies' refusal to join military action against Iran.
Posting on Truth Social, Trump said, "the Country of France wouldn't let planes headed to Israel, loaded up with military supplies, fly over French territory."
Frankly Europe was largely correct to not get involved, it offered them almost no upside and only downside.
Trump needs to face that he was conned into this, but sadly his ego is too sensitive to accept it.
Hopefully this massive political blunder doesn't completely backfire into a hard-left sweep in the mid-terms. Not that I hold out any red/blue team fantasies, but at least the MAGA crowd spoke as they disapproved of full-fledged communism.
Europe needs to develop its own financial, software, and military independnece.
Maybe they should form a Union or something
The left complains this 'war' is illegal, I think they mean 'undocumented'
The midterms will be decided on inflation/affordability, Trump will have to pivot away from Iran starting in May
