I was under the impression that dog domestication was more like 30k years ago.
Unfortunately, what we call prehistory goes back to 3,000 BC. Prehistory, in other words, unknown history.
Detailed written records go back a little farther than that but there are lots of drawings and other depictions that are quite a bit older.
