For years I have been playing an MLB prediction game with my son. My daughter also joined in the fun last year.
Rules are simple. Predict the results for every division, playoff seeding, and every round of the playoffs.
Winner gets bragging rights and gets to label the following year’s picks as MLB Facts while everyone else has to label their picks MLB Fiction.
After a two year losing streak, I reclaimed the MLB facts title last season.

Byebye Cy young overreacting?
Nah. First game. Cruz misplayed two balls in CF. Made things a lot worse. He didn’t get pulled because he was pitching poorly (he was). He got pulled because he threw 37 pitches in the first inning of the first game. They likely didn’t want that to compound and risk injury while still building up to full strength. Probably too cautious but they are going to be.

Here were last year’s absolutely abysmal picks. The only thing that saved me was having the Dodgers go all of the way while my son had the Braves, who missed the playoffs, winning the WS.
