The unique issue bitcoin products need to overcome is earning the trust that their product requires - because bitcoiners are uniquely untrusting. Fortunately, there are many paths to trust - some easier than others.

Yes, there is trust involved. Currently not possible to self host, perhaps in the future.

As far as I know Clams serves a different purpose as our product. You should see this as an add-on to the accounting software until they native provide bitcoin payment options.
