Started well... Then some FUD and virtue signalling 🤷‍♂️
For the record, I have mixed feelings about blockchains. I've HODL'd Bitcoin since 2013 and Ethereum since 2017. On one hand, I appreciate the opportunities and innovation they offer, but on the other hand, I am deeply concerned about their energy consumption and contribution to climate change.

There is so much misinformation about Bitcoin's energy usage out there. Really gets old when it is repeated as fact.

I've been learning about nano for the last month or so annnnd a takeaway from that is that the entire Nano network can be powered by a single wind turbine. Also have read about how there is a regular planting of trees from those involved.

If the whole network could be powered by a single wind turbine then you would only need 1 other wind turbine to overpower it. Bitcoin is secure because it incentivizes investment in more power use by miners.
Bitcoin energy use is a positive thing for the environment: miners will always want to use the cheapest power = more renewables flexible load allows for grid reinforcement = no more blackouts
more energy = better for humanity to get more energy, we will create cleaner and better sources over time.
In Europe right now, because of their "green" policies shutting down cleaner natural gas and nuclear power, they are now burning more emergency COAL to meet winter demand.
you must unlearn what you have learned young padawan.

LOL @ Nano.

It is really something to fall in love with at first sight. When you understand the technology and take away the relay lapses then it's love for eternity
