We're rebranding LNVPN.net. When we started, we only offered VPN. Today we also provide anonymous eSIM data plans for 180+ countries and disposable/rental phone numbers — all without account, email, or KYC. The name no longer fits.
We're looking for a new name. Short, memorable, globally pronounceable. No "VPN", "SIM", or "connect" in the name — we don't want to be tied to one product again. Think abstract and timeless, like Signal or Mullvad.
The domain must be available (any TLD is fine — .com, .io, .me, .sh, whatever works).
Rules:
- One suggestion per person
- Include a short reason why you think the name fits (one or two sentences)
- AI-generated lists will be ignored — put some thought into it
- We pick the winner within 2 weeks
- 200k sats to the winner via Lightning
ObexObex
Latin for "barrier." Four letters, no product baked in, just the one thing every service you offer has in common: something standing between your users and whoever's looking. Both domains are available. Abstract enough to outlast any pivot.
TLDs available: obex.sh ($35 then $63/yr) | obex.dev ($100 then $21/yr)
CloqCloq
Domains: cloq.tech ($81/yr), cloq.sh ($63/yr)
Reads like "cloak" without spelling it out. Four letters + .tech TLD, modern, globally pronounceable, and it captures the idea of covering without naming what's underneath. Works for VPN, eSIM, burner numbers, and most other privacy focused products you might branch into in future.
LINK
Retains LN and connects all your services
Easy for most to comprehend upon first look
Saetta
italian synonym of lightning, but shorter easier to remember.
Various TLD available:
saetta.net
saetta.ai
saetta.dev
saetta.tech
also others...
Lets go with poglog.
Why? Cause it rolls off the tongue and you don't need to spell it out.
Langa/LangaNet
From the Xhosa, African language, meaning openness (sun or light)
I quite like Sovryn (sovereign).
APS, for Anonymous Privacy Services.
"aps.live" is available for example. There are many others.
How about SecureRoaming?
It includes the services you're already providing and any other in the same line you might want to add, I believe.
Silhouette
I think the name is mysterious, but also quite elegant. I can see that something (a connection) is there, but the details are obscured.
NOYB
Stands for "none of your business". Tag Line: "NOYB, a privacy company!"
LiberCom.com
liber is a latin root word for both "freedom" and "book;"
"com" is a root word for community & communication, by itself means "together;"
the domain is available, makes a catchy alliteration, and is easy to pronounce!
KenoKeno
From the Greek Kenos, meaning "empty" or "void". This fulfill the non-KYC philosophy, where the user is and at the same time, the data is non-existent. It's short, strong, timeless, scales beyond connectivity and I think is a name with privacy-focused requirements without being tied to nothing.
**Veil **
Veil suggests a protective layer that hides your identity while letting you move freely across countries and services. This speaks to the zero-KYC, no-account experience you deliver. It looks like veil.sh is available. Thanks for the opportunity!
Fides: the Roman goddess of trust and fidelity, is also connected to confidentiality
Hausos
Dawn goddess of early europeans
How about netrudiga?
Allegedly means inconspicuous in Esperanto. Preserving your privacy should be the default, as in not conspicuous.
Name may be a syllable too long, but at least not squatted yet.
Laniakea our home supercluster. I think it’s a good name because it really shows how connected the universe is and the power of the anonymization.
Alias
Wraith
One word, six letters. Evokes invisibility and untraceability without putting any product category in the name.
Why it works:
The core value proposition is identity-free access to connectivity. A wraith exists but leaves no trace. That's exactly what you're selling.
