as a non-practicing catholic, I think they need to let priests get married, have sex and have families.  This would help greatly with recruitment and probably get rid of a lot of the sexual abuse issues.

I think that’s actually where AI could be useful as a tool rather than a replacement. If a priest struggles with English, AI could help refine wording or structure while the core message and intent still come from the priest himself.

The problem specifically with catholic priests I've seen is that due to poor recruitment they speak poor english.

Not a regular church goer but I wouldn't care who writes the sermon as long as the message and delivery is inspired.
