I mean I will say you can only do so much about one thing at a given time. You have to let things play out to an extent. Plus this also is an internal issue so its nice to see at least something being done about the internal ones. Oddly enough oil has also been falling today from its $113 a barrel high.... Given its already back down to $94.5.

Not saying we shouldn't ignore it but you also have to deal with multiple things at a time and can't get overly focused on one. That means we will just keep jumping from one crisis to another.

Unless they’re repealing some stupid regulations that never should have existed, college sports should not be a federal issue

Indeed. At this point this is par for the course though.

There aren't any college sports regulations which is part of the issue.

Oh no, somewhere there’s an aspect of life that’s not being dictated by the Feds!

So you approve of a Wild West where players and randomly making millions they think only to have enormous legal punishments on them if they transfer? Look at the Duke QB who owes the school double what he got AND doesn’t own his NIL rights anymore. The NCAA isn’t able to legally enforce things anymore I mean look at how everything is getting tied up in court. It’s just lining the pockets of lawyers and draining players who should benefit.

Plus without some sort of general program like all of the major sports league have now on finance it’s going to be like the NBA was in the early mid 2000s where over half the players went bankrupt within a couple of years of leaving the league.

That’s incredibly predatory for people to know this is going to happen to players and just let it.

How can there be enormous legal punishments when you told me there are no regulations?

And, yes, in general I want the Feds to stop sticking their noses into everyone’s business. You realize people moved to the Wild West on purpose right?
