I found it more sad than scary. While I'm sure his frustrations were real, I think he is being dramatic (because I would be dramatic if I were bored and upset).

It's all fake, a shit show to keep you busy.
Possible that is not even jailed.
It was all a setup.

This was a good read. It's great that he was able to get his ideal cell in the end. I'm surprised he didn't try earplugs. They take some getting used to but can make a huge difference ime.
