Bitcoin is still new. I know it seem old by modern standards but gold has been used for what? 5000 years. People still don't get bitcoin
Bitcoin because it is new is not understood / valued consistently and therefore is highly volatile in real market value.
Bitcoin solves real problems but most of the world isn't aware of this and most of the west doesn't even know about the problems so aren't looking for solutions. We are EARLY
Bitcoin is already a medium of exchange meaning people do use it but it by most definitions is not money yet because most people do not accept it yet. IF you say it is money then your definition of money is just more broad. I can be used as money but its adoption needs to grow a lot more for their to be agreement on that.
Bitcoiners rarely think like normies. Normies are dumb for sure but they aren't completely dumb. They are mostly ignorant so they act accordingly. Why spend something or get paid in something that goes up and down in value so much? Bitcoin needs to stabilize or fiat needs to destabilize a lot before this happens.
Bitcoin needs to be used as money / medium of exchange to prove its utility. It also needs to be scarce and secure. It needs all of these to make sense. So if we don't use it buy/exchange goods then it will fail. So we need a vanguard that use it regardless of the game theory just to keep it going until enough people get the picture. We or our descendants will be rewarded.
I could probably make more points but I support the nuts like Darth because they help keep us honest. They aren't always right though. That's OK. I also support the pragmatists. My priority is serving my God, my family, and community over bitcoin. So I will not go to prison for it or starve for it. Bitcoin is a tool for freedom. Not the goal for me. But it is vital and I want to defend/use/support it and people that do.
