Any loss of life is tragic. Just like the thousands of Americans Iran and its proxies Iran and its proxies have killed and injured. They wouldn't stop. Diplomacy sadly wasn't getting us any closer and only showed they thought they could lead us along.
A clear message was and continues to be sent that this is not the old days were you could lead the US along.
Its starting to draw in other players like the Gulf States including those who have nothing to do with the operation. Iran is lashing out at everyone and further alienating themselves. Just look at how Cyprus got attacked.... they had zero to do with this.
Human Events reported early Saturday that it would be roughly a 4 week campaign, that was later confirmed by Trump... The weekend conditioning strikes first soften the target with high tech, take out launchers, radars, decap etc, so we can use then cheaper stuff to clean up.
Amazing how the TDS crowd swallows hook-line-and-sinker inventory FUD from fake news as if .mil planners don't know their own inventories and logistics networks better than WaPo... they're probably still waiting for Ukraine's counter-offensive to work out.
The cheap US copies (with improvements) of the cheap Iranian drones are really going to pay off. We have seen them taking out things already and with them being able to be used since air defenses are gone in Iran gives the US the ability to cheaply continue to strike and keep Iran down.
I did not think that regime change was possible without putting boots on the ground however this might be an exception given how large of a population in Iran wants regime change and how badly the Regime is broken.
Iran is set up for internal struggles between various factions as well to just select the next Supreme Leader. If the US is able to help keep the internet on for Iranian civilians and help them mobilize then the Regime is really going to be SOL
Great that no one died, but your defense of "not the most expensive jets" is meaningless. Still $270 million in tax payer value downed ($90m a piece). I don't think there is a single thing you wouldn't rush to defend.
Those were not F-15EX's those were much much older F-15E's they are being phased out in the next 10 years. They stopped building these things 8 years ago and combined they cost the US approx $93 million so sure its expensive still but its a third of what you are thinking because these were not EX's and were going to be retired in the next 10 years.
F-15E's the US Air Force received their last ones in 1999.
4 too many

Feels like a gambler at a casino table, if this thing last more than a couple of weeks, this is not going to be sustainable.

3 F-15 fighter jets also shot down over Kuwait from friendly fire. Things going excellent.
None of the fighters died. They were not the most expensive jets. Its war things do happen to get destroyed.

I don't believe a word that orange haired buffoon says anymore.
I only wish I had been smart enough to NEVER believe. Or even hope.
I'm following Max Blumenthal. The truth has a better chance of coming through there.
