Congrats on the milestone!

I didn't even want to write this update - but I am determined to craft this habit, so I gotta.

It might help to have a buddy system. Perhaps someone on or off SN has a related goal or can be persuaded into one and you can hold each other accountable? Works for AA. Maybe you can start a habit the way they stop them.

At least this week, I will take up the offer I'm asking you to make. I did a story-style 401k match. A beginning for a beginning.

My stem soul tells the story of my visit to marsMy stem soul tells the story of my visit to mars

Mars is so dry I thought. At least, if someone asked what I was thinking, Mars is so dry are the words I'd say. Thoughts are more like oats than oatmeal, aren't they? What on Earth lol am I doing here? was my next thought. My legpit itches. It always fucking itches. Why? I will forget it if I can forget to forget it which I can forget if I forget that I'm forgetting ... That did the trick.

There are two I's, me's. I'm a podcaster, prancing on Mars' surface, legpit itching, wearing what's best described as a mylar-coated, human-shaped, diaper-thick ziplock bag. That's the me that's "thinking." But I, the one telling this story, I am the I behind the eyes.

I am forever a k00b. Did you go to Brazil? Are you going to write about it?

Did you go to Brazil?

Yes! Currently waiting at a dead airport for my next flight back home in 4 hours. But hey, I can order food to the gate, look at that

Are you going to write about it?

Mhh, I hope so!

I can see you know how to pick good places. What's the Portuguese word you learned in Brazil?

Floresta means Forest! (And it’s named like that because it uses Merkle trees a lot.)

I also remember someone tried to say “head and shoulders” in English, and I understood “Heil Hitler”, that was so good, hahaha

😂🤣

Great word, it’s really similar to English. One word foreigners pick up a lot is 'gringo' (/ˈɡrɪŋ.ɡəʊ/), which is slang for a foreigner!

I already learned gringo on SN here!

Ohh, and I learned women say “obrigada”, not “obrigado”. Very interesting!

Storymatch is a cool concept. Also, I didn't know legpit was the word but it totally makes sense.
