Let me see if I can dig up the email. I remember thinking the claims to be a bit too grandiose regarding how good the simulation is
I could easily imagine getting hooked on it. Have you ever played Democracy 3 (or any other edition)?
I think I might've played Democracy 2 but that was a long time ago. My favorite such games are the Crusader Kings series because you can do fun stuff like assassinate your own kids to get your preferred heir, or marry your firstborn daughter off to the king of another nation so that their heir (and the descendant you eventually play as) later takes over that nation
