I’m protesting against tyranny and these senseless, random downzaps. And nah, I don't need anyone’s blessing to hold my head high!
You are protesting to defend a group of trolls who could not refute the hypocrisy of their actions.
You joined them because they appeared to be a loud majority attacking a single respondent. You wanted to be part of the dominant group.
You can say 'people can do what they like' and they can, but that does not remove the hypocrisy from the above peoples actions and the fact you joined them in their 'Solidarity for Hypocrisy' 'protest'.
Tyranny does not explain itself- it just attacks anyone who questions it.
They could not and have not credibly explained how virtue signalling as a Bitcoin Maxi wanting to see BTC adoption and frequently posting content on the topic even claiming to be living on the bitcoin standard while minimising their use of BTC and LN is not hypocrisy.
And neither can you.
The only thing that stands between us and tyranny is reasoned dialogue and good faith contest of ideas- the group you joined refused to engage in such a dialogue because they could not explain or refute their hypocrisy- they and you chose in instead to attack the messenger.
That makes them and you the tyrants.
'Lord of the Flies' dramatizes very well how the dynamic of tyranny works when reasoned dialogue is deliberately avoided and shut down.

But you have not explained what those wrong reasons are.
You cannot.
You are not a free thinker - you cannot even think for yourself - you are a group think follower otherwise you would be able to explain why you think my downzapping was for the 'wrong reasons'.

You have consciously sided with a group who virtue signal about BTC adoption but demonstrably minimise their actual use of Bitcoin here on SNs.
You cannot explain why they want to hide their LN wallet status...but you have hidden your wallet status to support them.
Makes sense only if you are desperate to be part of 'the group' regardless of reason, logic and principles.
Reminiscent of 'Lord of the Flies'.
